In the outskirt of Odisha & Mayurbhanj District , Dhirajlal College , Bahalda is situated two kms. away from Bahalda town on the way to Jamshedpur. Established in 1986 with a vision to impart quality higher education for making noble human beings & ideal citizens, the institution stands for sincerity, diligence & prudence.
Higher Education so imparted in a serene environment is being felt to have translated the vision into action by heightening the socio-economic conditions of the rural folk over the years.
The selfless united efforts of the people of Bahalda supplemented by that of peripheral villages transformed into Dhirajlal College, Bahalda on 01.09.1986.
A handsome bulk of initial funds to setup the college came from a local businessman Mr. Ramsevak Sahu and as such the college was resolved to be named after his father Dhirajlal Sahu.
The college acknowledges cumulative indebtedness to Late Anil Kumar Pattanaik who dragged the institution forward as the founder Secretary till his obscurity from earth.
